Very excited to have my performance and installation piece in Volume 8 of Emergency Index. INDEX Vol. 8 presents 285 works from 48 countries performed during 2018, documented in the words of their creators.
My work, It All Belongs to Another Place and Time, is documented alongside some amazing artists from around the world that I’ve had the privilege to work and perform alongside.

I will be building a brand new installation titled "From Another Place and Time" for "The Space Under the Surface" exhibition. My performance will take place at 6:30 pm during the First Thursday opening reception that runs from 6-8 pm on March 1st. The work will be on view every day from February 27th - March 15th, 2018 in The Commons, located on the Pacific Northwest College of Art main campus building: 511 NW Broadway, Portland, OR 97209.
The Space Under the Surface: an exhibition of work that represents a Sense of Place
Pacific Northwest College of Art and the PNCA Staff Council cordially invite you to the 2018 PNCA Staff exhibition titled "The Space Under the Surface".
This year 21 artists and designers from across a wide range of departments around the college have come together for an exhibition that showcases how the creative talent at PNCA extends into all parts of this community. The exhibition was juried by PNCA Faculty and Artists Jodie Cavalier & Nan Curtis.

'Spilt Milk' is a one night performance exhibition taking place at the Thomas Young Gallery. The event will feature the work of four Petrichor Performance Collective members — Elaine Thap, Helina Metaferia, Kledia Spiro and Nathaniel Wyrick, all recent alumni and friends of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
'Spilt Milk' will include a compilation of diverse performative works that visually articulate themes of ephemerality and time through installation and action. Each of the five solo performances will converse with each other and the common issues of memory, identity and belonging. The event will include three hours of performances (some durational and some short form) and a half hour audience participatory pre-event discussion on the role of performance based practices in the gallery context.
Pre-event discussion will begin at 7:00 pm.
Performances will begin at 8:00 pm and conclude at 11:00 pm. A more detailed schedule will be released closer to the exhibition date
Funded through an Artist grant from the New Center for Arts and Culture and CJP in partnership with the Boston Jewish Music Festival and the Boston Jewish Film Festival.
A sculptural installation, in collaboration with artist Christian Meade, made of found and collected objects, the installation depicts a darkened domestic interior. As the days of Hanukkah progress, the scene will be illuminated by unexpected and miraculous light sources. The work celebrates the light of home and dispels the long dark of winter.

BOSTON - The Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture and the Boston Art Commission are proud to announce “Pop Up! Dudley Connections,” a selection of temporary public and performance art projects in Roxbury’s Dudley Square neighborhood. Images are available upon request.
“The Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building, named after Bruce Bolling, the first African-American president of the Boston City Council, will be the next great building in Boston,” says Mayor Martin J. Walsh. “Opening late next year as a 150,000-square-foot municipal center with retail and office space, it is a critical step in the ongoing economic revitalization of Dudley Square, using the neighborhood’s past as a foundation to build its future. These pop-up public art projects from area artists are visual and dynamic ways to signal positive changes in the neighborhood.”
“Boston is one of the oldest U.S. cities, yet is well known for its climate of transformation,” says Karin Goodfellow, Director of the Boston Art Commission. “We are a city that moves between convention and innovation and Dudley Square is currently at the apex of the city’s transformation. Way Back on the Shelf explores the autobiographical memory of the artist through sculpture, installation, and video performance. The artist seeks to investigate the fragility and imperfection of memory as he questions grief and masculinity through family traditions and childhood.
